Individual Therapy
Sometimes, it is just nice to talk to someone who knows how to listen. It might be about the challenges of the day or traumatic experiences from our past, but having a trained behavioral health professional available to help you through the emotional struggles that life creates is a tremendous benefit.
Making the decision to see a licensed therapist is one of the easiest ways to make life more peaceful, joyous, and fulfilling! The Choice Health Integrated team of therapists are qualified licensed professionals who work closely with you to create a personalized plan that supports your unique experiences and goals. Whether you’re dealing with co-occurring mental health issues, trauma, or the challenges of addiction/recovery
Choice Health Integrated offers counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. It is preferred you meet in person with your therapist, but telehealth sessions are available if that is more convenient for you.
Available Therapy Options:
- One-on-one Counseling: Meet with your personal therapist as often as you like in-person or via telehealth. Choice Health Integrated offers therapy sessions in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
- Couples Counseling: Strengthen your coupleship with the assistance of a licensed marriage counselor. Your therapist can work with you and your partner to develop a stronger relationship. Sometimes this means meeting as a couple, and other times it might mean working one-on-one with your therapist.
- Family Therapy: Involves family members in your treatment process, helping to heal relationships and establish a supportive home environment.
Psychiatry
We know that mental health challenges are real for those who suffer from them, and thankfully, our society is finally beginning to understand that seeking psychiatric treatment is no different than seeing a doctor for diabetes or some other chronic disease.
This is good news because what we understand at Choice Health Integrated is that when an individual has undiagnosed mental health issues, it typically causes the individual to seek comfort through unhealthy and dangerous means. Our team of professionals and our collection of services are here to support, identify, and treat all the factors affecting an individual’s emotional well-being. Our integrated approach treats depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and more through an evidence-based model supported by the latest research, innovations, and therapeutic modalities.
We offer confidential, compassionate care, focusing on personalized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle counseling. From your initial psychiatric evaluation to ongoing therapy and medication adjustments, our team is committed to providing comprehensive mental health care that supports your demanding lifestyle.
As you make the choice to seek help, always remember you are not alone; research shows millions of Americans suffer from mental health issues and emotional pain. Research also shows that the pain you are feeling is treatable through medication, counseling, and lifestyle changes. All it takes is the courage to seek qualified help, and if you do, it will be the first step to building a life you love!
Primary Care
Intelligent healthcare is the foundation that creates our pathway to living a life we love. However, far too often, an individual’s healthcare team is focused solely on one’s physical health rather than the whole body. This traditional approach to care treats the symptom, not the root issue, leaving you dependent on the “healthcare system” rather than in control of your own health and well-being.
At Choice Health Integrated, we take a different approach, a whole-body approach that arms you with the tools to live better, freer, and empowered. Our team of medical professionals does more than identify what is making you feel bad; they develop a treatment plan based on your physical and emotional needs. It is an evidence-based, whole-body approach to care that seeks to find the underlying causes of your physical and emotional pain while supplying you with the knowledge and resources to maintain your health and well-being.
Our primary care services include routine health screenings, management of chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, preventive care, vaccinations, and general wellness advice. The process is tailored to your journey and can be supported by Choice Health’s team of mental healthcare professionals if needed.
We choose to take this approach because it is beneficial to you. It is a delivery of care that allows for fewer doctor visits, increases awareness of how to stay healthy, and gives you a complete understanding of your unique health needs. Simply put, it allows you to live the healthy and purposeful life you desire.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
The research on medication-assisted treatment (“MAT”) highlights the importance and effectiveness medications can have on an individual engaged in recovery. Studies prove that MAT eliminates withdrawal symptoms, diminishes cravings, and reduces overdose deaths. For the recovering addict, MAT’s benefits enable them to reintegrate back into the careers, hobbies, and relationships they enjoyed before the onset of their substance use disorder.
Choice Health Integrated recognizes the importance of MAT in combating the opioid/fentanyl epidemics and other drug and alcohol addictions. Our outpatient services support clients looking to start or continue MAT treatment. We use FDA-approved medications, such as buprenorphine, naltrexone, and more, in conjunction with counseling and behavioral therapies to provide a comprehensive approach to treatment.
At Choice Health Integrated, we find that as clients gain stability in their recovery, there often comes a time when they begin to focus on improving their quality of life through the reduction of MAT services. While many of the MAT clinics offer behavioral health services to their clients, these services are not designed to support a lengthy and mind/body-altering titration plan. This often leaves the individual in the dangerous position of titrating without specialized care.
To change this reality, Choice Health Integrated has created a Recovery Titration Program designed specifically for recovering addicts on MAT services. This program brings together like-minded members of the recovery community who wish to titrate off MAT safely and smartly. This strategic and supportive program addresses the clinical, physical, and medical needs of all recovering addicts so they can safely and successfully live drug-free.
Medication Management
The medications we prescribe to us are only as good as the way we take them. Medication management is more than ensuring you have a timely renewal; it is learning the importance of taking your medication as directed, understanding why you were prescribed the medicine, and how you should feel if they are effective.
At Choice Health Integrated, we prioritize your safety, satisfaction, and the usefulness of your prescribed medications. Through our medication management program, we look to prevent medication errors, reduce the risk of drug interactions, and ensure the optimal use of medicines in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, and other mental health disorders.
Our protocols include regular medication reviews for effectiveness, monitoring unwanted side effects, and allowing for adjustments as needed. The foundation of any treatment plan is good communication between the physician and the patient as well as across the entire clinical team, which is prioritized at Choice Health Integrated.
Group Therapy – Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Outpatient group therapy for the treatment of drug and alcohol abuse works because it combines the experience of licensed counselors with the commonality of peers. Through Choice Health’s structured and intentional 13-week substance abuse treatment program, individuals learn the tools to live successfully without the need for drugs and alcohol. The idea behind attending IOP is that you learn to abstain from drugs and alcohol while living a whole and active life. For this reason, Choice Health Integrated offers IOP in the morning and evening in person or via telehealth*.
Choice Health Integrated is an ADHS-licensed outpatient integrated behavioral health treatment center specializing in treating substance use and co-occurring disorders while also providing physical health services. We offer a multi-dimensional program with group sessions five days per week, for 3 hours per day, plus individual counseling and related case management services.
Our integrated whole-body approach to treatment combines evidence-based treatment, group and individual trauma-informed care, life skills training, and case management. From the beginning, Choice has exceeded the minimum standards by employing master’s level clinicians to facilitate group, individual, and family counseling sessions. We continuously work to foster a strong community and culture for our clients that goes beyond the traditional IOP structure.
